E Track Luncheon- Getting a Handle on Legal Priorities for your Business

Are you on top of the legal aspects of your business?  Whether you are a sole proprietor, partner or CEO of a company, you need to have a handle on legal issues that impact your business and opportunities.  Join us for lunch on Friday, April 23rd at 11:30 to learn form a panel of local legal experts who understand the challenges facing entrepreneurs and the businesses they build.  You will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panel and also to talk briefly afterwards with our panel of experts.  We will cover these and other topics:

  • Building a team (legal, accounting, tax etc.)

  • Importance of protecting IP

Our panel of legal experts includes:

Joe Keglewitsch, Shottenstein, Zox & Dunn – Mr. Keglewitsch handles complex corporate and business law issues for both private and public companies, with a focus on and extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, trade secret protection, joint ventures, product development, intellectual property licensing, day-to day operations etc.

Kristen Richner, Squire Sanders – Kristen focuses her practice on bankruptcy, reorganization and creditors’ rights. She has experience in many facets of corporate reorganizations and bankruptcy, including representing debtors, creditors and equity holders in in-court and out-of-court reorganizations and liquidations.

Tom Washbush, Partner in Charge, Columbus, Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff LLP
Mr. Washbush has more than 19 years of experience in structured financing, mergers and acquisitions, bank representation and general corporate work.
