As you and your business engage in the process of executing your 2011 operating plan, are you certain you have the resources required for success? Are you interested in exploring all of the options available to you with respect to having the right people, doing the right things at the right time? If so, you won’t want to miss this dynamic event.
During this session, we will introduce the concept of leveraging interns as a cost-effective and flexible workforce alternative. The session will be delivered in two parts.
The first part will be conducted by Dave Cofer, Internship Consultant with the Columbus Chamber and President / CEO of Cofer Consulting Solutions. During this workshop-oriented session, Dave will introduce participants to the basics of hosting interns with particular emphasis on small- and medium-sized businesses.
The second part of the session will be conducted as an interactive discussion. This interactive discussion will consist of local businesses that have recently hosted interns. When possible, we will be joined by former interns as well. This unique panel composition will afford attendees the opportunity to obtain first-hand perspective from both the business and the student intern. The combination of dynamic workshop and candid discussion promises to equip attendees with the information they need to make the best decision pertaining to interns in their workplace. Make plans now to join us!
The event is free for Chamber members and $25 for non-members.
