A consultant to the World Bank, the World Health Organization, and assistant professor at Harvard University, Dr. Nandakumar has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. His recent research has focused on fungibility of donor assistance; understanding the linkages between health expenditures and maternal and infant mortality, and studying the relationship between growth in a country's income and spending on health. Dr. Nandakumar is extremely interested in developing methods to track resource flows to understand the efficiency of health spending.
