Greenland's Ice and Global Warming Report with Dr. Jason Box, Glaciologist
Featured on a widely-acclaimed Discovery Channel documentary, Dr. Jason Box is a glaciologist and lead scientist on the Wrapping Greenland project. He spends a large portion of his time in Greenland and has conducted climate research expeditions to the Greenland ice sheet every year since 1994. This event is presented by Columbus Metropolitan Club.
His work as an assistant professor at OSU focuses on the effects of climate change on the vulnerable ice, making important observations on global sea levels, ocean salinity and global climate impacts. Just back from this years' trip, you will be among the first to hear what Dr. Box’s latest findings are on the status of Greenland’s icepack and how it may impact earths climate.
