The Heartland Region SharePoint Conference Announces the 2011 Keynote Speakers

January 17, 2011

The Heartland Region SharePoint Conference sponsors are pleased to announce a distinguished line-up of presenters for the 2011 Conference being held at the NorthPointe Conference Center on February 2, 2011. This highly regarded SharePoint conference offers attendees a competitive advantage with technology insights they need to be successful, as well as the opportunity to meet and interact with top leaders in the region. “I’m pleased with the caliber of speakers and presenters that will be brought together for the second annual conference, as well as the support we’ve received from the Columbus SharePoint community. I’m confident that those attending this year’s conference will walk away better educated on how SharePoint 2010 can help transform their businesses”, said John Wanke, Partner Account Manager at Microsoft. Information Control Corporation’s Mario Fulan, a SharePoint Certified Master and keynote speaker at the conference, will share his experience working with three separate Rapid Deployment Program (RDP) customers to deliver their projects successfully to production even before SharePoint 2010 officially released. Prior to joining ICC, Mario was an architect and consultant for Microsoft Consulting Services for more than 10 years. Joel Oleson, senior SharePoint architect and evangelist at Quest Software, joins Mario as keynote speaker. Joel is an internationally recognized technology expert in SharePoint, social computing and internet technologies, speaking at conferences on six continents. His latest book, “SharePoint 2010: Best Practices for Upgrading and Migrating,” is available now from O’Reilly Media. “As an invitation-only event, we quickly exceeded the conference’s capacity of 150 attendees last year. As a result we expanded the registration opportunities by 30% and added another educational track of content. I believe the program is the best yet. With exceptional speakers and a dynamic program that is both relevant and timely, the conference offers attendees valuable insight on how SharePoint can transform their business, as well as offer peer-to-peer networking opportunities,” said Kevin Walter, ICC’s Director of Microsoft Services and co-founder of the Conference.
