GoldTech of Ohio LLC, a Hilliard IT firm, has been awarded a $2.1 million contract to help speed up the Ohio Academic Resources Network (OARnet) while providing expanded broadband access to the state’s schools, libraries, public parks and other institutions. The project will link OARnet’s 1850-mile network with more than 3,000 miles of private networks make broadband more accessible especially in rural areas of the state.
