STAR Dynamics Corporation has been awarded $100,000 from the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) in the form of a Rapid Outreach Grant. The grant will help facilitate the creation of 37 new jobs and the retention of 54 more. The company will use the grant to purchase machinery and equipment at a planned facility in Hilliard.
STAR Dynamics supplies sophisticated high performance radar systems used for national defense and government applications.
According to Lt. Governor Lee Fisher, who also serves as Director of ODOD, “The aerospace and defense industry leverages unique synergies by combining Ohio’s manufacturing expertise with our state’s high-tech strengths.”
The Rapid Outreach Grant program is designed to assist companies and communities that are creating or retaining jobs in Ohio.
