| Description |
Manages the Human Resource function, overseeing the administration of hiring, retention, termination, recordkeeping, legal compliance, compensation, benefits, and manpower planning strategies. Responsibilities include development and administration of personnel rules and policies, pay and job classification structure, and programs for employee training, safety, health, and morale.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following
- Designs and implements policies for hiring and oversees adherence to EEOC and affirmative action programs and diversity goals set by the corporation.
- Approves terminations and ensures that reasons are well documented and are not discriminatory, and comply with laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain policy and procedure manuals for each of the following departments: Sales, Operations, Distribution.
- Develop and maintain a training program for each of the following departments: Sales, Operations, and Distribution.
- Maintains confidential personnel records.
- Performs all duties related to job vacancies including placing advertisement and contacting temporary agency.
- Reviews resumes and conducts initial interviews.
- . Creates and sends job offer letters for new hires and performs all required pre-employment testing.
- Maintains company absentee records to include recording hours and notifying management of time away from work.
- Administers employee benefits by communicating changes or additions with insurance broker.
- Prepares and confirms all travel and accommodation arrangements and resolves related difficulties
- Creates and maintains master forms designed to enhance efficient office operations by applying knowledge of software applications.
