Intellectual Property Technical Advisor (Columbus, Ohio)

Recent graduate with an M.S. or Ph.D. in a biological science or chemical field or a post-doctoral researcher from a biological science or chemical field.

A solid academic and publication record. A strong interest in patent law is preferred, although no prior intellectual property experience is required. Must have strong English communication skills and capable of quickly learning leading-edge technologies.

FOR IMMEDIATE HIRING: Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP has one of the largest intellectual property and information technology practices in a general practice law firm within the Midwest.  We have approximately 25 attorneys registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in addition to other skilled intellectual property attorneys.  Most of the lawyers in our practice have undergraduate and graduate degrees in mechanical, electrical, computer or chemical engineering, biochemistry or the biological sciences. The position is based in our Columbus office, but will work with the entire intellectual property practice in our Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus offices.
