JEGS Automotive, Inc., an industry leader in the distribution of after market high performance auto parts and accessories, is searching for an individual to direct the Internet Team. This individual will be responsible for directing the internet strategy and manage the team to assure excellence in website presence, effectiveness and functionality.

The position requires proven success managing large-scale web projects with strong results in increasing site performance, improving conversion rates, maintaining a customer friendly website and managing site content.

Responsibilities/Expectations

• Directing the entire E-commerce (IBM Web Sphere) operation in a D2C environment.
• Motivate and manage the Web Team to assure the highest level of productivity & effectiveness.
• Designing & enhancing our website and driving traffic to those sites is a must.
• Maximizing the utilization of Endeca for improved search capabilities, Make Model Year 
• Track, audit and analyze site performance, while generating site analysis reports for our company, clients and competitors
• Review programming code & perform testing to assure accuracy( AS400 and JAVA )
• Managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns with Google, Yahoo and MSN.
• Manage and measure large e-mail campaigns including click-through and conversion.
• Identifying and implementing strategies to increase traffic and revenue through SEO & PPC
• Manage rankings effectively with targeted keywords and be able to match with relevant content pages
• Optimize various website components including, meta tags, copy, linking, sitemap, copy. etc.
