Our exclusive series continues Monday, April 4th with A Conversation with with Cheryl Krueger, the Chief Executive Officer of Krueger + Co., LLC, a strategic business consulting firm, New Albany, Ohio, since 2009; President and Chief Executive Officer of Cheryl & Co., Inc., a manufacturer and retailer of gourmet foods and gifts, Columbus, Ohio from 1986 to 2009.
Our January event featured Michael Glimcher, Chairman and CEO of Glimcher Realty Trust. To read attendee Maureen Metcalf's blog post about the program, click here.
When Ms. Krueger talks with us this April, we expect a similar experience. She founded Cheryl & Co., a multi-million dollar gourmet food and gift corporation in 1981, where she led the company’s operations, management, product development and marketing. Her success starting and building Cheryl & Co. is testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and deeply creative branding and internet marketing vision. CEOs, presidents, founders, business leaders and general managers from small and large companies are invited to participate at The Blackwell Inn at OSU, 5:30pm – 8pm, Monday April 4th.
TechColumbus Leadership Series started in September at the Fisher College of Business. Jeff Wilkins (Founder CompuServe, Metatec) was our first speaker. Jim Grote (Founder Donatos) was our second, Michael Glimcher (Glimcher Corp) was our third. This series is all about lessons learned from “Business Builders”.
This new conversational format was designed to create the greatest interest and value for senior leaders. Veteran “business builders” share their philosophies in an open, interactive setting. Why were they successful? What mistakes did they make? What lessons were most important? Each, with their unique perspectives and experiences, engage the attendees in a way that sparks new thinking and creates valuable takeaways. When company leaders can exchange ideas, lasting value and lasting relationships are formed.
