JackThreads Founder Jason Ross Named to Inc Magazine’s 30 Under 30 List

Central Ohio entrepreneur Jason Ross has made this year’s Inc list of 30 Under 30. Ross, a semi-finalist in last year’s Innovation Awards, was recognized by Inc for his innovations in online retail sales.  JackThreads is a members-only flash sale site catering to men and offering “flash sales” of clothing at 40 to 80 percent off retail. 

JackThreads launched July 31, 2008 with six brands. Today the site has more than 450 brands, almost 1 million members, and is on track to post $25 million in revenue this year.  The company was acquired in 2010 by Thrillist, a digital lifestyle publication providing its audience (mostly young, well-educated, affluent men) with what is new, unknown or unappreciated in local entertainment and lifestyle categories (i.e. dining, nightlife, events and fashion).
