Job Transition Group, North Meeting - Columbus Chapter of the American Marketing Association

Are you a Marketer in the Columbus OH metropolitan area who is in between jobs? Are you currently looking for employment in the areas of marketing, advertising and public relations? Are you employed but interested in supporting your peers in transition?

Visit the Columbus Marketers Job Transition Group! We meet twice a month on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m at 1266 Manning Parkway, Powell, 43065 (former Fitch offices).

This networking group is designed specifically for Marketers. Our goal is to bring together individuals in the field of marketing and public relations who have been recently displaced and/or are new to the field and are looking for employment. Individuals with all levels of experience are welcome - from the recent college graduate to the most seasoned veteran executive.

Come prepared to introduce yourself, tell a little bit about your background and what you are looking for. (This is also known as your “elevator speech”). Finish by telling the group how they can help you. For example, do you need contacts at specific companies? Do you have questions about your job search? Be sure to bring your business cards!

Enrollment is limited to the first 25 people who register.

Cost: FREE to members and non-members

Directions: Once you turn off of Olentangy River Road onto Manning Parkway, the entrance to the facility is the second driveway on your right at the black split rail fence. There is a small sign with the address pointing to the right.
