Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position will provide Strategic direction and consulting to address Information Security needs within NetJets as well as support cross-functional security activities and project teams. NetJets operates a 24/7/365 operations model and off-hour work will be required as needed. This position will require time to be tracked within the NetJets Shared IT time tracking system.

Lead Worker: This position reports to Information Security Manager. This position serves as a resource for other employees. May communicate instructions, do minor scheduling, and inspect work. Does not hire, terminate, discipline, promote, demote, transfer, or appraise, but may be consulted by higher management in these areas.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•  Provide strategic direction and consulting to support cross-functional security activities and project teams including security strategy, solution, architecture, technology products, design and implement policies, infrastructure hardening and compliance, vulnerability identification, remediation plans, policy developments, risk assessment and intrusion detection.

•  Assist and/or drive security implementations to cover related risks and concerns identified in supporting documents (i.e. Business Impact Analysis, Recovery Time Objectives, regulatory, etc.). Also, serve as an escalation point information security for questions and concerns related to.

•  Create business policies, processes, standards and guidelines to promote a secure computing infrastructure. Includes working closely with other Shared IT functions, other lines of business, vendors and with other security professionals to identify innovative security solutions and actively apply these solutions

•  Provide a consistent and well-communicated expectation with respect to specific tools and/or tool creation to aid in standard compliance reporting, gap analysis reporting and remediation planning for infrastructure security related issues

•  Engineer solutions consistent with NetJets Shared IT and Line of Business architecture, as well as infrastructure policies and standards

•  Create an Evergreen process - Plan, Design, Implement, Maintain, and Evolve

•  Ensure that as systems come online, line of business interests are met and implementation is in compliance with published standards

•  Ensure appropriate logging, maintain logs, aggregate logs and provide a review to report abnormalities in activity

•  CSIRT oversight
