Live Incident Response Drills

COLUMBUS, OH—Interhack presents Incident Response Drills Training at Platform Labs on December 3, 2009.  Many organizations now have plans for handling “incidents” in their organization—a loss of confidentiality, integrity, or availability of an important resource. How well those plans will work, though, can be anybody's guess.

For good reason, incident response training is standard operating procedure in police, fire fighting, and the military. In business, incident response training can run the gamut from tabletop scenarios over the lunch room table to full mock events using real servers and personnel. Drawing on Interhack's experience running live drills with their clients, Interhack founder C. Matthew Curtin will relate the process of planning for, executing, and cataloging the lessons from incident response drills and how to communicate the value of these drills to your business.
