Local Healthcare Companies Recognized by Surgical Products Magazine

Two local healthcare companies, Minimally Invasive Devices LLC, an up and coming medical device startup, and Cardinal Health, a Fortune 18 company serving the needs of the healthcare industry, have both been recognized by the readers of Surgical Products Magazine for excellence in surgical products.    

Minimally Invasive Devices (MID), which develops clear view products for use during laparoscopic surgery, has been named as the first ever recipient of the magazine’s Excellence in Surgical Products Awards.  The award, which is based on peer reviews and voting, was given to MID for its FloShield product, an innovative surgical tool that maintains a clear laparoscopic lens during surgery. 

Cardinal Health also received recognition from the readers of Surgical Products Magazine for its ENDURA line of performance apparel surgical scrubs which are more durable, comfortable and professional-looking.
