Through this partnership, Kuali and Innovativ will offer a set of open-source administrative solutions for higher education institutions and the management, functional and technical consulting expertise to ensure a successful implementation of those technologies.

From the first basic Kuali financial software, development the program has expanded to include additional modules under the name of Kuali Rice that can be mixed and matched to meet an institution's specific needs in areas such as student interaction and messaging. There is a growing and active community of developers working to expand on these core programs.
