Manta Expands Executive Team, Names Greg Garrick to Newly Created Marketing Role

Manta, the world's largest online community for promoting and connecting small business, has named Greg Garrick as Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

Garrick will be based in Columbus, Ohio, the headquarters of Manta, and will report to Pamela Springer, President and CEO. Garrick’s primary responsibilities will center on developing and executing growth strategies, with a particular emphasis on brand awareness, marketing communications and small business profile claims initiatives.

Garrick joins Manta with a wealth of small business and marketing experience. Most recently he was Vice President, Marketing & Corporate Development for Hearst-owned LocalEdge, a leader in local search and performance-based advertising targeting SMBs. Prior to that, he worked at Dex Media in various roles, including strategy, product development and innovation.

Previous employers include SBC and Ameritech, where he served in a variety of marketing roles. Garrick also served for several years as a top 5% media consultant with Gerson Lehrman Group, advising clients on small business marketing trends. He has substantial experience in developing products and advertising programs that resonate with SMBs. Garrick has a BA from Drake University.
