Marketing Internship

e-Cycle, one of the fastest growing environmental services companies in the US, is seeking a highly motivated, self starter to assist in the marketing department. Offering the opportunity to gain relevant industry experience, this position will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Coordinator to assist in the development of strategic marketing and sales initiatives through efficient and timely support. The right candidate for this position must be available to work 20 hours a week from Fall 2011 until Spring 2012. This paid position offers the opportunity for long-term advancement. 

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Provide marketing support to the e-Cycle sales department
•    Creative writing, proofreading and editing
•    Provide qualitative research for a variety of marketing efforts
•    Assist in the management of the email marketing system as well as creation and distribution of email communications
•    Assist in social media outreach (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Blog)
•    Research and recommend promotional events for sales team to attend. Assist in management of event calendar.
•    Research, compile and submit potential award applications. Assist in maintenance of the award calendar.
•    Assist in the compilation of the employee newsletters – includes collection of articles, graphic layout, creative writing, revisions and distribution
•    Other duties as needed

Salary range - $10.00 per hour
