Materials and Energy: The Building Blocks for Ohio's Economic Future.

The Center for Multifunctional Polymer Nanomaterials & Devices (CMPND) and the University Clean Energy Alliance of Ohio (UCEAO) are collaborating and uniting their efforts to present this event.

This promises to be an exciting event and a major opportunity to forge new partnerships and connections among a diverse audience of industry representatives, university faculty, business leaders, government officials, and energy advocates.

The format of the Day 1 meeting will be a variety of sessions devoted to energy research, innovations in education, environmental mitigation, and effective public policy. Day 1 will conclude with a session that tie together energy and material science to demonstrate the future of energy

A major highlight of the event will be the evening Collaborative Mixer. This will be an event for networking and building new connections, having discussions with students at their posters and viewing many energy exhibits from universities, companies and other partners making a difference in Ohio's economic future.  

Day 2 will be formatted to allow companies of any size a chance to communicate their needs and concerns about applying materials and nanotechnology in energy applications. The interactive panel sessions and poster format will enable direct communications between users and suppliers of this technology. The meeting will seek to identify the areas that have the most potential for near-, medium- and long-range\ successes in the conversion of technologies to new products and devices.
