A small association team with big ideas needs an experienced meeting planner/events coordinator to help improve and expand our professional development offerings, including meetings/events, annual conference and virtual distance learning.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of all aspects of our annual conference.
- Arrange and execute all meetings, including registration functions, facilities, catering and other duties.
- Serve internal and external customers’ meeting management requirements.
- Analyze and implement effective distance learning.
- Participate in membership promotion, strategic discussions, and vision/mission of the organization.
- Perform administrative as well as management functions, so proficiency in Office tools is essential.
Requirements:
- Two – three years’ experience planning multi-faceted events
- Ability to leverage a database for promotion, tracking and meeting efficiency
- Comfort in a small team environment with a “can do” attitude.
- Excellent communication/negotiation abilities.
