The United for Jobs and Ohio’s Future coalition, the campaign supporting passage of State Issue 1, has released its most updated list of supporters statewide for the ballot measure that would extend the Ohio Third Frontier. The list includes all major Ohio newspapers, universities, businesses technology-based economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, manufacturing, agriculture and other industries, and both the Ohio Republican and Democratic parties.
“Supporters of Issue 1 come from all parts of Ohio and represent every sector of our economy,” says Jo Ann Davidson, co-chair of United for Jobs and Ohio’s Future. “The growing list of endorsements for Issue 1 shows that once people understand how effective the Ohio Third Frontier has been at creating jobs, building new companies and expanding existing businesses, they want to ensure the program’s benefits continue to grow and reach even more Ohioans.”
You can show your support by attending the Yes on Issue 1 Rally scheduled for April 12 at TechColumbus. The rally will start at 4 p.m. and will feature a keynote address from OSU President E. Gordon Gee. Campaign Co-Chairs Jo Ann Davidson and David Wilhelm, as well as local entrepreneurs, will provide insights into the impact Ohio Third Frontier has had, and if passed, will continue to have on transitioning Ohio’s future.
