Ten Central Ohio nonprofits, including Nationwide Children’s Hospital, were honored recently when the GroundWork Group celebrated its inaugural Nonprofit IT Creativity Awards. The awards recognize innovative and meaningful ways in which nonprofit organizations leverage IT to support business functions in order to more effectively achieve their missions.
Nationwide Children’s Hospital received two awards; one for Day-to-Day Operations and the second for Reporting which was awarded to Nationwide Children’s Center for Research and Policy.
Other honorees included Rebuilding Together Central Ohio, VSA Ohio, Prevent Blindness Ohio, Children’s Hunger Alliance, Local Matters, Ohio Literacy Network, Step By Step Academy and Alvis House.
“We wanted to create the Nonprofit IT Creativity Awards to honor nonprofits specifically. Accolades are given to a broad spectrum of businesses and individuals – we wanted to put that spotlight on excellent nonprofit organizations, said John Hrusovsky, GroundWork Group’s CEO.
