Speaker Details:
Melanie Martin Jones practices domestic and foreign protection and transfer of intellectual property, as well as general business law at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP. She is experienced in copyright, trademark and patent prosecution and litigation; due diligence and the negotiation of technology transfer instruments, including distributor’s agreements, licenses and assignments; and counseling clients regarding validity and infringement matters. She has experience in Madrid Protocol and PCT mechanisms for filing foreign trademark and patent applications. Her education and prior work experience allow her to evaluate inventions and prosecute patents in a wide range of technologies.
