Neoprobe, which announced last week it will change its name to Navidea Biopharmaceuticals Inc. beginning next year, has also announced it has purchased worldwide rights to a drug that aids in the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. The drug, currently known as AZD4694, is used in brain imaging for patients who show signs of cognitive impairment, including Alzheimer’s.
