| Description |
The .Net Consultant will be responsible for working on applications in the Product Design and Development area. The associate will be responsible for application development, testing, documenting, and mentoring other .Net developers. The associate may interface with the customers for defining enhancement requests, testing, and implementation.
Responsibilities:

Must be able to code, debug and test application programs utilizing Visual Studio and web based programming tools.

Must be adaptive to the use of new software aids and programming techniques as they are required or adapted in IT.

Must be proficient with SQL Server 2005 & Oracle 10g experience is a plus.

Working with all levels of the business and the development team to establish, promote, and enforce architectural guidelines as well as assist in the implementation and problem resolution of existing applications and requests.

Ensuring work meets functional and quality expectations within given time-line Designing, coordinating, and executing application functional tests to ensure fulfillment of business requirements, IT quality, architectural, and security standards on assigned projects.
Requirements and Qualifications:
-
4 year degree in an IT related field.

Minimum 4 years experience in application development utilizing .Net, ASP, C#, JavaScript, Web Services, and SQL Server.

Minimum 1 year experience in a retail environment.

Ability to adapt to a fast paced core project.

Strong problem solving, analytical, design and testing skills with an ability to navigate technical issues, evaluate risk and possess a basic knowledge of IT architecture.

Demonstrated track record of successful system and project implementations.
-
Ability to deliver effective, clear, and consistent functional and technical documentation.
-
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
-
Expertise in IT systems development life-cycle.
