Title: .net Developer Duration: 6+ Months Location: Columbus, OH. (Must be Local) Job Description: The .Net Designer/Developers will participate on small technical teams running in parallel to design, develop/configure, test and implement the client.s ATPS III application. Candidates should be prepared to deliver in a tight schedule driven environment and be familiar with the various aspects of project SDLC’s. Responsibilities will include: Translating functional designs into technical designs Developing and unit testing code in accordance with the defined technical designs Creating unit test plans which detail test conditions and expected results Testing code changes and resolving differences between expected and actual results. The .Net Developer candidates must have: Minimum 4+ years' experience Developing, Debugging, and Unit Testing ASP.NET Web Based Software Applications Minimum 2+ year's experience with C# utilizing the Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 or higher Demonstrated experience writing Transact SQL Stored Procedures for SQL Server 2005/2008 Experience with JavaScript and AJAX technologies Advanced knowledge and understanding of Design Patterns and/or Object Oriented (OO) Design and Analysis Experience with N-Tier (layered) Architecture implementing classes for both Data Layers and/or Business Layers integrating to a Microsoft SQL Server database Experience implementing Generics for displaying lists of data with Web Form controls Experience with WCF Web Services and/or interface classes Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Requirement Traceability experience preferred Demonstrated experience creating and executing system/technical design documentation with application development work experience. Project based application development work experience and familiarity with SDLC Ability to multitask Must have strong oral and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively across parallel work streams ensuring cross-functional considerations are being addressed Ability to Troubleshoot and ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues with projects. Ability to deliver successfully in a tight schedule driven environment Ability to communicate effectively across the work streams running in parallel to ensure proper cross-functional considerations are being addressed Previous public sector experience preferred Experience with MS Team Foundation Server preferred
