BS, Computer Science or related field. Equivalent, relevant experience acceptable also.

COMSYS has a number positions for .NET Developers in a variety of roles and industries, including both private and public sector clients, and short (3 month) and long term (1-2 year) engagements. 

These engagements have start dates beginning early May through mid July, and include both contract and contract to hire positions.

Successful candidates will have many of the following relevant skills, knowledge, and experience reflecting a strong technology and development background using the .NET framework:

• Experience in structured enterprise architecture, including the definition of standards and guidelines for IT design, implementation and ongoing support across a broad spectrum spanning: software engineering, distributed systems, database performance, network design, and Internet security.
• VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, (MS Visiual Studio 2003, 2005, 2008) XML
• MVC pattern
• Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) web service in .NET 3.5 using Visual Studio 2008 and the Web Services Software Factory Modeling Edition 
• AJAX using jQuery AJAX functionality
• SCRUM methodology
• Experience writing unit tests
• Experience with SQL database server, T-Sql and stored procedures
• Experience with Oracle database server, PL/SQL and stored procedures 
• Creation and implementation of Web Services
• Documentation of code and SDLC practices
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; excellence in cross-group collaboration; ability to deal with ambiguity
