Network Hardware Technician

Education and/or Experience :
High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience or training Certifications, Licenses

The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of the following technical qualifications:

· Basic TCP/IP networking

· Computer Hardware and upgrade procedures

· The Microsoft Office suite (specifically Word and Excel)

· Command line experience a plus

· Technical Certifications a plus (CCENT, CCNA, Network+, A+, etc.)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated, perceptive individual with a high attention to detail. This is an opportunity to work in a fast paced, growing, fun, relaxed company. Part-time to Full-time opening. The position will be assisting our Lab Manager.

Job Requirements are as follows:

Tests, troubleshoots, repairs network equipment hardware, parts, and systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Discusses testing and repair procedures and problems with Lab Manager.
Configure standard test environment to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and sustainability tests to evaluate performance and reliability of production equipment.
Analyzes and interprets test data.
Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, and modifies components and records effects on unit performance.
Checks functionality of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
