Overview of Job

Position is over the Network Operations group within the ISS infrastructure organization. Network architect reporting to the Manager of Global Infrastructure. Primary oversight of all Cisco Lan/Wan equipment and configurations to support CB&I. Direct and indirect reports to support the 7/24 network.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, implementation and support of the local and wide area networks. Work closely with the server and application support teams to monitor and maintain a global network in over 30 different countries. Participate in network planning and project support teams. Monitor protocol compatibility and perform general troubleshooting of problems and escalations when necessary. Travel of about 15 to 20 percent to various domestic and international sites will be required as part of this position. A valid passport will be required. Manage a group of network support technicians and any vendors providing equipment or services.
