NEW VIRTUAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENT FROM ZETA CENTAURI

Columbus, OH - Zeta Centauri announces the release of SampliTron 1.0 for Windows, a software sampler.  SampliTron is a virtual instrument designed for live sound performance.

The easy-to-use interface allows the creation of complex multi-sampled keyboard splits with a minimum of effort.  The included sound library gives users hundreds of high-quality drum, synthesizer, and orchestral sounds to choose from.

SampliTron can be controlled using the computer keyboard or an external MIDI controller and also has the ability to function as a controller of external MIDI devices.

For sound generation, SampliTron uses Microsoft's new XAudio2 libraries, which are intended to be a replacement for aging DirectSound and DirectMusic technologies. SampliTron is available for Windows 7, Vista, and XP for $19 USD.  Visit the Zeta Centauri website to download the trial version and find out more about the program.
