Nominations are now open for the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards. These prestigious awards recognize the men and women who put everything on the line in order to translate an idea into a viable, sustainable enterprise. A nominee can be the founder, president or chief executive officer of a private or public company that is at least three years old. Nominees must be primarily responsible for the recent performance of the company and an active member of top management.
Nominations are due March 18, with all completed applications due March 31.
An independent panel of judges will review the applications and select the finalists and award recipients. The judging panel will base their decision on numerous criteria including vision, leadership, innovation, achievement, perseverance and the story behind the nominee's success. Regional winners will be announced June 30 at an awards banquet to be held in Cincinnati. Regional honorees will then compete for national honors at the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum in Palm Springs, CA, November 2011.To download a nomination form, click here.
