The Ohio Department of Development recently approved Job Creation Tax Credits for 16 businesses, including one for Central Ohio startup, CallCopy. The Job Creation Tax Credit is to encourage the creation and retention of jobs within the state. As a result of the award, CallCopy is expected to retain 21 jobs in Central Ohio and create 50 new positions. Call Copy was founded in 2004 as a provider of innovative performance management solutions in large call centers.
Total Job Creation Tax Credits awarded to the 16 enterprises is anticipated to create 1,756 positions while retaining 2,539 jobs within the state.
