In addition to your meeting with legislators, you'll hear more about key initiatives and programs for electronic medical record adoption that were launched in 2010 fromsome of the key players in Ohio government and health care who will speak at our noon luncheon:
- Representative Lynn Wachtmann will present opening remarks pertinent to healthcare in Ohio today,
- Greg Moody, Director of the Governor's Office of Health Transformation will discuss the OHT plans and the role of Health IT as part of its efforts.
- Fred Richards, the CIO/COO of the Ohio Health Information Partnership will give an update on the programs that OHIP is implementing with the HITECH funding, and
- David Groves, Executive Director, Health Bridge Tristate Regional Extension Center will present perspectives on the future of electronic medical records.
At 3 pm in the Statehouse Atrium we will host a CIO Panel on HIE and finish the day off with a reception for fellowship and feedback on the day's activities.
