The Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative LLC and the Kauffman Foundation have partnered to present an online learning program entitled “Mindset: Tapping Your Entrepreneurial IQ.” The self-guided program is a two-hour, 38-minute curriculum that enables aspiring entrepreneurs to determine if they have the proper mindset to be successful as entrepreneurs.
“The mindset is an essential aspect of entrepreneurship, yet little is known about how ordinary people can find and apply these inner resources,” says Thom Ruhe, director of Entrepreneurship at the Kauffman Foundation, “This program draws from the knowledge and experience of successful entrepreneurs who share their perspectives and provide insights into the mindset that enabled them to succeed. It should be a pre-requisite for anyone considering an entrepreneurial venture.”
A number of successful entrepreneurs were interviewed for this program including Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist, E-Myth author Michael Gerber, serial inventor John Osher, Emmy Award winner Jim Stovall – and many others. The program features written and video content and a wealth of resources such as recommended readings and learning assessments. Students can also access an online forum connecting them with other aspiring entrepreneurs around the world.
The Kauffman Foundation is offering scholarships for “Mindset: Tapping Your Entrepreneurial IQ” making the program available for free to the first 250 qualified applicants.
