BS in Computer Science or anything equivalent

• 7 years of experience.

• Responsible for the administration, optimization, monitoring, tuning and backup/retrieval of enterprise databases. • Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining user access, space management, database refreshes, and database security. Monitors database for potential problems and creates end-user reports. • May write and tune SQL or PL/SQL code. • May participate in data migration activities or work with application development teams to provide database access and knowledge. Provides appropriate consulting, interfacing, and training for users. • Establishes and maintains policies, standard operating procedures, and associated documentation for user interaction with the database environment.
