Outside Sales Representative - IT Services

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years business-to-business sales experience
• Consultative sales experience preferred (solution selling)
• Demonstrated success in prospecting, qualifying and overcoming objections
• Familiarity with technology industry preferred
• Exceptional communication skills - verbal & written
• Customer focused attitude ensuring the highest level of support to our customer base
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with business decision makers (CEO, President, Owner)
• Understanding and utilization of professional sales methodology
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• High-energy, self-motivated, well-organized

Revolution Group, a leading IT consulting firm based in Westerville, Ohio, is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative who can identify value-added opportunities and sell information technology solutions and services to the SMB segment. You will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing of new business. This is a consultative sales position and candidates familiar with selling services will have a definite advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Actively pursue new business prospects through prospecting, cold calling, appointments, and networking

• Prepare and present proposals that result in closed sales 

• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales activity and sales revenue goals

• Work closely with inside sales and marketing team to execute marketing campaigns

• Build and streamline internal sales processes to improve sales department

• Manage all sales activity in Ohio market

• Identify, develop and maintain channel partnerships to better serve client base

• Grow existing accounts through strong working relationships and understanding of clients’ businesses
