The PC Tech II is responsible for providing technical administration for all desktop personal computer systems supporting the NetJets 7x24x365 operation. This includes PC hardware, operating system, and NetJets approved applications. This position will be located in Columbus, OH. What do you need to join our team? •2-3 years of Windows/Intel PC hardware and software experience supporting a client base of 500+ customers in a 7x24x365 operational environment. •Must have working knowledge of personal computers as well as familiarity of local area networks and cabling topologies. •Proficiency with Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office. •Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. •Should have the ability to work independently, and be able to establish priorities. •Must possess good troubleshooting skills. •Good organizational skills. What does a PC Tech II do? •Performs second level (Tier II) troubleshooting and problem resolution support for the Shared IT Service Desk and/or Incident Management requests assigned to them via the Ticket Management System within the documented Service Levels. •Responsible for the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software for business users. •Performs PC hardware and software moves, adds and changes. •Works with procurement staff to maintain adequate inventory and asset controls to support break/fix and company growth. •Assists Desktop Support Lead and LAN/Network Administrators in various project tasks as assigned. •Maintains documentation on the installation of desktop personal computer operating systems and applications software. •Adherence to time and metric's tracking. •Performs on-call rotation supporting the business 7x24x365.
