October 11, 2010

People to My Site today congratulated its client, the Center for Injury Research and Policy at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (CIRP), on recently winning a Web Marketing Association WebAward for its recently re-designed website. CIRP was honored on September 15 with the Non-Profit Standard of Excellence WebAward for outstanding achievement in Web development. People to My Site designed the Center for Injury Research and Policy’s website, which launched in January 2010 (website) and LALLEY Technology, a Dublin, Ohio-based Web firm, developed the site.

“Congratulations to the Center for Injury Research and Policy for winning this distinguished award,” said Jennifer Ridenour, chief executive officer of People to My Site. “This award is well-deserved recognition for the Center -- not only for its high-quality website, but for the contribution it makes to the betterment of children’s lives across the world. We are extremely proud to work closely with this top-notch organization.”

Entries in the Web Marketing Association’s 14th annual WebAward Competition were judged on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation and use of technology. “We are absolutely thrilled that our site was honored with a WebAward! We are very proud of the combined efforts of People to My Site and LALLEY and we thank them for all of their hard work,” said Tracy Mehan, manager of translational research at the Center for Injury Research and Policy. “As an organization, one of our top priorities is to share the findings from our research with a wide array of audiences including fellow researchers, parents, coaches, athletes, physicians, health educators, and public policy makers. Our re-designed site helps us do just that, all in an aesthetically-pleasing and easy-to-navigate package.”

“It is exciting to see an organization like the Center for Injury Research and Policy leverage our technology. Tracy Mehan and her team have done an excellent job making a large amount of information accessible and easy-to-use," said Lloyd Alley, President of LALLEY Technology, Inc. "We are proud to have created the tools that give CIRP the opportunity to do so."
