| Description | GO: Fitness Center Coaching Position Description This position is a Sales, Marketing, Coaching & Training Position – We have a high expectation for each of our team members to be successful at our facility. Job Description: This position is designed for the self-starter, who wants to also work on a team with other exceptional people. The first priority of this position is one of sales and marketing. You have to get people in to train them. We do consultative not high-pressure sales. After that, you will work on delivering and modifying the prescribed exercise, education, communication, motivation and accountability program that we have determined is critical for the for the client’s success. Goal of Position: The goal of being a coach with GO: Fitness Center is to create unprecedented service and value for the client and the club. You do this by getting primary, secondary and even tertiary results for the client. Example 1: Primary: Gain Muscle/Tone Up Secondary: Reduce Low Back Pain Tertiary: Golf Better Example 2: Primary: Lose 20 pounds Secondary: Gain confidence Tertiary: Stop Smoking You create value for the Club by creating as many clients as possible with the time you have available to work. You also create value for the club by assisting in membership sales, assisting members, cleaning and displaying a positive attitude. Implementation: GO: Fitness Center has partnered with Integrated Fitness Coaching Systems to provide the client and you a complete education and training system. We have done this to provide the highest quality product to our clients. Our program is designed to give you a coaching education that would normally take you 5-10 years to acquire, in a matter of months. Most trainers spend months trying to be successful, and often fail. Our program is designed to help you be successful as fast as possible, through education, a plan, and building you as part of the team. Our Coaching Systems is a thorough system that focuses on the client as a person, needing a complete program that delivers results by providing the support that the client needs. This means coaching the client on what they need to be successful: goal setting, motivating the client, holding the client accountable, educating the client, as well as implementing a nationally recognized exercise program. Expectations/Requirements: We want our clients to feel respected and to get the results they need and want, in a consistent, fun and effective way. You will do this by being on time, learn our system, educate yourself, and implement our system to the greatest effect. You are expected to be a professional, build your clientele, and work as part of a team to help the fitness center run efficiently, and help each of the members. You will be required to do Equipment Orientations, Fitness Assessments, provide Consultations, follow The Integrated Functional Coaching System protocol for training clients, modifying it as needed per client. You are also expected to assist in keeping the club clean, neat and safe. You are expected to obtain a NASM certification within 3-6 months, depending on your experience, and current certifications. You must maintain your CPR, First Aide, and AED certifications. You will be required to be a self-starter, completing membership training, marketing actions, daily tasks and reports, and making the most of your time while in the club. You will also need to operate as part of a larger team, serving the members, and the club.
