Plans Set for Second TechConnect Fast-Pitch Job Fair October 21

The second TechConnect fast-pitch job fair is set for October 21 at OSU’s Fawcett Center.  TechConnect is described as “speed-dating” for IT workers and companies looking to hire them.  The inaugural TechConnect event was held last May and is credited with helping bring job seekers and companies together.

To help job seekers be more prepared to take full advantage of the TechConnect event, there will be an informal mixer October 4 at TechColumbus where companies will set up booths and describe the type of talent they’re seeking.  In addition, Columbus State Community College will host a career workshop on October 12 in advance of the event.
