PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, and Materials Science

Use of Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) or other nanofillers in epoxy resin formulations for mechanical property enhancements. Polymer Chemistry experience with thermosetting polymers and fiber reinforced plastics (FRP). Laboratory research background including formulation science and mixture DOE with hands-on resin mixing and composite lay-up experience. Material property analysis including physical, thermal, and mechanical analysis techniques Polymer Structure-Property Relationships

Zyvex Performance Materials is recruiting for a post Doc Composite Researcher.

Essential job responsibilities include:

• Research fiber reinforced composites in support of new product development.
• Develop new polymeric composite systems, most often for use in Aerospace applications.
• Document and present research findings with Product Development Team and clients.
