Product Development Engineering Manager - Electronic Sensors

A Bachelor’s degree is required in Material Science, Electrical Engineering or Physics.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this newly created position requires a minimum 2 years’ experience as a Department Manager, and 5 years product development experience in a related field. That may include sensing devices, thin film deposition, semiconductors, precision measurement equipment and/or flight and military-qualified products.

Lake Shore Cryotronics is an international leader in developing innovative measurement and control solutions, primarily for scientific applications. Our products include cryogenic temperature sensors and measurement instrumentation; magnetic test equipment; metrology systems; and probe stations used for characterizing physical properties of materials. We have an immediate need for a Product Development Engineering Manager in our Sensors Group, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of sensor development activities. Our sensors products are key to Lake Shore’s business and are widely regarded by our customers as the best in the industry. This role drives important projects that further strengthen Lake Shore’s market position in sensors. The successful candidate uses and teaches good design control techniques and is comfortable following quality procedures during the design process. This person will manage multiple employees and take the lead role in developing, implementing and executing departmental policies and processes related to the development, validation and support of sensor products.
