Production Technician

High School Diploma, technical college preferred.

Light manufacturing operations. Continuous-process chemical, plating or textiles. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds and climb ladders. Detail oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a rapidaly change environment. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Full-time position has production level responsibility for coated polymer process and reports to Production Manager. Working hours may be first or second shift and are subject to change. Responsiblilities. Operate chemical process production line. Preform production line set-up, calibration and maintenance. Complete mechanical assembly, maintenance and repair of production equipment. Make measurements and adjustments related to chemical process and product quality control. Participate in continuous improvement program. Conduct inventory of production and maintenance supplies. Maintain safe and clean plant environment. Package product for shipping. Collect and record production data.
