The Project Manager - IT is responsible for managing the integration of various Netjets Shared IT Infrastructure Projects into the global enterprise. This includes understanding various technology platforms, scoping, planning, tracking, measuring, and reporting on status of projects. Interacts with other Shared IT team members, various NetJets Business Units, and external partners. This position will manage multiple large, medium, and small Shared IT projects concurrently along with a team of Project Coordinators. This position reports to Director of Operations. This position manages a total of 1 - 5 non-supervisory employees in the Shared IT department(s). This position will be located in Columbus, OH. What do you need to join our team? •5 years’ experience in an Infrastructure based Project Management role. •Experience with project/resource management tools, project financial tracking, risk management, and project management life cycle processes and disciplines. •Proven ability to manage multiple Infrastructure projects in a large global environment. •Experience managing projects being resourced in a matrixed support structure. •Demonstrated strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. •Experience in risk management. •Knowledge of ITIL best practices. •Experience in various project management tools. MS/Project, etc. •Experience facilitating meetings involving customers and technical staff, including building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary. •Experience in managing projects for the technology infrastructure in a real time, 24X7 environment involving numerous systems and subsystems and interdependencies. •Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills. •Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts and technologies. •Demonstrated strong leadership, mentoring, and delegative management skills. •Demonstrated strong judgment and decision-making ability. •Experience producing status reports for multiple audiences, including general knowledge of statistical analysis. •Willingness to accept responsibilities outside the explicitly defined role. What does a Project Manager – IT do? •Establish plans to support the completion and installation of Governance and Shared IT approved projects into the enterprise. This includes project definition, estimation, budgeting, resource allocation, resolving conflicts, and delivering on-time solutions in a highly matrixed global environment. •Build and maintain a solid Infrastructure Project Methodology practice to support multiple concurrent enterprise initiatives. •Collaborate with all Shared IT Teams to understand and define project requirements and set priorities based on business needs. Adjust priorities in accordance with Governance direction or regulatory requirements. •Communicate status to project stakeholders, senior management, and the Shared IT team. •Direct the work and performance of the Project Team. Provides assignments, mentoring, coaching and training, and executes performance evaluations. •Provide 7x24x365 assistance as necessary in support of NetJets' global, high-availability operations.
