Promising High Tech Startups Sought for Participation in New York Venture Summit

The 10th Annual New York Venture Summit is scheduled for June 7, 2010 and its organizers, youngStartup Ventures, are currently soliciting presentations from cutting edge startups in technology, clean tech and life sciences who want to present their businesses before the nation’s leading venture capitalists.

The event, held in New York City, is expected to draw 600 leading venture capitalists, angel investors, investment bankers, tech transfer executives, corporate VCs, incubator managers and CEOs of emerging companies.  To date more than 40 leading VC firms have committed to participating. 

There are 50 openings for promising companies to present their business proposition before this influential audience to gain exposure and funding.   In addition, the day-long event will feature many opportunities to learn from and about venture capitalists. There will be individual and panel presentations by more than 50 influential VCs and many opportunities for high level networking. 

Application deadline for startup presentations in the technology, clean tech and life sciences sectors is May 6.
