Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or related field.

8-10 years of quality assurance experience, preferably in the insurance industry; IS Quality Assurance experience, IS Policy & Procedures, Ruby experience a plus, Familiarity with programming languages: C, C++, JavaScript, Scripting Languages, Ruby, Perl or Python languages. IDEAL CANDIDATE • Has thorough knowledge of the automation testing framework and best practices • Demonstrates the ability to analyze problems and present possible solutions to management • Seeks information from appropriate existing sources (management, peers, customers, knowledge base) to handle tasks, issues and problems • Displays commitment to team goals by actively joining in team activities/group discussion and committing to follow-up action

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Designs and delivers operable tests to the project for deployment • Responds to all technical inquires related to the test project • Develops and configures the necessary operating environments for web application testing • Trains and mentors team members in the required skills of test development • Participates in developing the strategy and best practices of the organization and promotion them within the team • Monitors the performance and ability to of the team members, especially junior testers • Defines tasks suitable for completion by members of the team in defined iteration of work • Coordinate the day-to-day project tasks of the team and their results • Accountable for achieving the expected quality levels in the team’s test design and delivery • Regularly communicates team progress as directed by management • Interacts with the customers for coordination and information gathering as part of the QA effort
