Position: Regional Sales Manager Reports to: Director of Sales Status:
Non-Exempt Job Summary:
- The regional sales manager is responsible to develop and maintain a sales territory.
- Accountable for reaching sales goals, maintaining customer relationships and representing the company in a highly professional manor.
- A fair amount of travel is required.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for achieving annual sales and profit objectives.
Assume territory management in an assigned geographic region.
- Obtain new business and increase recurring sales though relationship selling.
- Develop personalized sales presentations to professionals (physicians, nurses, executives in clinics and hospitals
- Develop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective clients.
- Provide timely reporting of pipeline, account and territory management activities.
- Maintain knowledge of competitors and their presence in assigned territory
Job Requirements:
- BA/BS in a related field highly desired (will consider 5+ years of experience in medical device sales in lieu of a bachelors degree).
- 3+ years of successful medical device sales to hospitals/physicians.
- Urology medical device sales experience highly preferred.
- Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision making ability.
- Knowledge of hospital purchasing procedures.
- Must be able to travel.
