Reliable, Available, Secure, Performance (RASP) Platform Overview

Oracle Invites you to a free 1 day hands-on RASP Platform Workshop. Oracle’s RASP (Reliable, Available, Secure, Performance) Platform consists of four major components – database, middleware, virtualization and management software – that together provide the necessary functionality for a complete and pre-integrated technology foundation.

Oracle’s leading database provides the reliability, availability, security, and performance that SaaS and any mission-critical applications or services require.    With Oracle’s comprehensive management capabilities, you can ensure that your applications meet all service levels with minimal effort and highest productivity.

Participants in the workshop will implement and monitor a complete Reliable, Available and Secure Oracle DB Platform.  Activities covered in the hands-on portion:

  • Build and Configure Real Application Clusters (RAC).
  • Partition a Database Table in the cluster
  • Configure a Virtual Private Database (VPD) for multi-tenancy
  • Diagnose and Tune the database using Oracle Grid Control
  • Overview and Best Practice Wrap Up Included

The target audience is DBAs, system administrators, system architects and Technical managers. This workshop is free and we start at 9:00 am and continue until 4:00 pm. Your seat in the workshop will be confirmed through email by the Oracle workshop team prior to the start date

Since seating is limited, please notify rajat.x.dham@oracle.com as soon as possible if you are interested in taking advantage of this exciting hands-on training.
