1:00 pm  Biofuels and Bioenergy:  Opportunities and Challenges:  Biomass fuels are an alternative to petrolleum based fuels, but face challenges.

2:10 pm  Algae Research:  Third Generation Biofules:  Biofuels made from algae oil have the potential to reduce use of petroleum-based fuels.

3:00 pm  Tour

3:45 pm  quasar energy group's anaerobic digester:  Built adjacent to the OARDC Wooster campus, this 550,000 gallon digester became operational in 2010.  It can generate 4,252 MWh/year of electricity from food wastes and other organic materials.
